The Automailer 2 has four "pockets" or stations to insert a variety of pieces into envelopes. Letters, folded brochures, reply cards, and return envelopes are just a few examples. It also has intelligent capabilities to read bar codes printed on the master piece to determine which inserts, if any, accompany each individual letter.
